Dendrotech and handmade computers II

This project is full of challenges. Not so much the programming. I've been working with Flash for close on 10 years - it's all the other stuff. The required knowledge is spread across a wide range of disciplines. This is also one of the big attractions.
At the moment I'm an "armchair polymath". I know just enough to get me going in each of the required subjects. Every now and then though I come across something that makes the task I've set myself seem trivial. My chosen medium is the web which means I have AS3, a modern object oriented programming language and the Flash Player, a graphically rich, web native delivery system to help me. I just can imagine where I'd start if I had to build this thing out of wood!
